CustomMbroidery.com started in the fall of 1984 as an embroidery manufacturing / contracting company servicing the garment industry of NYC.

Over time; we grew to be a national company with clients all over America doing all types of embroidery on finished garments as well as cut parts. The products we embroidered on ranged from; shirts, jeans, jackets and hats to belts, ties, socks and dresses. Our specialty was appliqué and direct embroidery as well as customer service and quick turnarounds. We ran two shifts six days a week and sometimes when business became overwhelming; we employed a third shift to help our clients.

As the embroidery industry grew, the competition did too. Not only here in America, but also in the Far East. Business started to change rapidly and we needed to focus on other arenas. In the winter of 1995, a young lady came to us with a proposal. She needed us to embroider corporate logos on shirts and hats for a marketing program she was instituting for her client. We knew nothing about an industry we became a leader in within the next five years ~ that being the Corporate Promotional Products Industry.

We started working with all unusual requirements such as embroidering on different parts of shirts and jackets we never did before, like the sleeves, the back of the neck, the back tail of the shirts as well as right under the placket or even on the collars themselves. With jackets; we made full back designs that incorporated fabrics as appliqués and then stitched over them to give other effects. New ideas were asked of us and we always toyed with them. Thus they became new methods of embroidery such as 3D and patches. We also started embroidering leather and fabrics that were used as book covers for journals or portfolios. Companies had needs and needed people to work with them. We always stepped out of the box and helped them in all they requested.

In September of 2003, we started importing and manufacturing our own products overseas in China, India, Pakistan and Turkey. We developed a whole new framework to help clients with the products themselves; besides just the embroidery. We stock an enormous amount of items, each in many colors to accommodate all different color combinations of company logos. Some of these items are; polar fleece blankets, baseball caps, polar fleece scarves, gloves, stadium wraps, headbands, towels and robes to name a few. Having these items readily accessible for you, lets us embroider them as quick as you need them. Our turnaround time frame is 3-5 Working days and we also offer an immediate Rush Service too.
